Full Super Moon – 14th November 2016
Note: 13 Star Sign Astrology is an ancient form of Astrology that hasn’t been used for over 2000 years. It is based on the true astronomical data of the Planets and includes the constellation of Ophiuchus (Serpentarius) who also sits on the ecliptic. So the Star Sign I am referring to may be in the previous Star Sign compared to the traditional forms of Astrology used. Our ancestors used this system of astrology for many centuries until the map was redesigned for agricultural reasons and because it didn’t allow movement for the precession of the equinox’s; or use the true sizes of the constellations; this map has been out of date for many, many years.

The Full Moon reaches its peak on 14th November 2016 at 13:53 GMT in Aries and moves into Taurus at 16:28 GMT.
This is the closest Super Moon we have had since January 26th 1948 and back then it took place in Pisces, but with very similar aspects to our Full Super Moon this month.
The Moon in Aries is an emotionally volatile Moon with an impulsive nature. This Moon doesn’t think about the consequences of her actions, as she is able to charm her way out of awkward situations very convincingly. Aries in general are very independent and insist on following their own path of action, whether it be right or wrong and woe betide anyone that tries to interfere. The Aries Moon is prone to sudden bursts of anger and can be very sensitive to other people’s reactions, which irritates her all the more. Two and a half hours later our Full Super Moon moves into Taurus, who is more placid and steady in nature, the Taurus Moon though, doesn’t budge for anybody and likes the comfort of her own home. She is also very sensual and loves to indulge in all the good things that life has to offer.
Aries & Taurus combined creates an energy of raw sensuality. The combination of this energy coming in will be based upon, single minded actions with a strong determination. It will also be emphasized by the Asteroid Lilith’s trine to our Moon. This influence is seductive and manipulative, but can be naïve. We must stay firm when it comes to forming boundaries, both morally and practically. But we must have some fun too. Our Super Moon will be mystical with a special power of persuasion. Any boundary issues that come to light will do so to be healed, as Chiron brings in an empathetic and sensitive vibe that helps us to understand ourselves and our true nature on a much deeper level and without any inhibitions.
The Black Moon Lilith in Libra continues to cast her shadow of perfection, which is just a disguise. Her unrealistic expectations and boundary issues are caused by her fear of loneliness. It is a time to assess our values, or to learn what is truly of value. As the Black Moon Lilith eclipses our Sun and opposes our Moon, she portrays an illusion of lack; a lack of joy and creative energy which tends to erupt into volatile behavior, through a lack of release. We must keep ourselves grounded and rooted, as the energy sweeps the Earth erratically. Both the 13th and 14th will be just as powerful as the other, so use both nights for meditations etc.
This energy is associated with the Root Chakra and is ideal for those that are creative or feeling romantic; something unique can come to the surface with these aspects to our Moon.
For Meditation, I would suggest working with the Root Chakra our Creative Centre, for grounding, balancing and revealing our hidden talents. Use or wear the color Red, burn Red Candles and SandalWood, Cinnamon, myrr, or patchouli incense. Eat plenty of root vegetables, red fruit and protein. Hot and spicy. Use the crystals, Red Jasper, or Smoky Quartz for emotional balance and letting go. Use the affirmation: I am safe and I am grounded, I have a strong foundation. I am alive, I am well, I am beautiful.
