Full Moon – 11th April 2017

The Full Moon reaches its peak in Virgo on the 11th April 2017 at 07:08 GMT
The Moon in Virgo has good concentration skills and a retentive memory but does have a tendency to over think things, becoming obsessed with petty details and perfectionism. Serious minded and very guarded with her feelings, the Moon in Virgo can come across as highly unrealistic and narrow minded. Stomach issues often plague her as her nervous system is constantly under the stress and strain of getting it right! It is so important for this Moon to develop her self esteem and take great care of her digestive system, as she is prone to stomach disorders. Healthy eating, vitamins and minerals, (especially Magnesium) would be beneficial for the Moon in Virgo
The aspects to our Full Moon this month create an uncomfortable and pressured environment as a T Square aspect is in formation, involving our Full Moon. The Sun ans Uranus in Pisces, are in opposition to both our Full Moon and Retrograde Jupiter in Virgo. This opposition creates feelings of discontent, entrapment and resentment, which can become unbearable and out of control. These Planets in opposition are also all in square to Pluto and the Asteroid Juno in Sagittarius; power struggles; unwise action; squandering of resources; over judgemental attitudes and comitments are at risk of reaching the brink of a painful dissolution. For some of us the need to change our situations becomes so overwhelming that we are in danger of acting without thinking, leading us into destructive conflicts and eventually loss. We must beware of becoming our own worst enemy, as our comitments become heavy and burdensome. We must weigh up the pros and cons of any situation we presently find ourselves in and use our good wisdom and good foresight to make a plan, or gain a resolution.
There is a great need this Full Moon to find a balance between our comitments and our independence. We must show gratitude for what we already have, rather than scrutinise what we dont have. For those of us who practise the art of mindfulness, this will be a time of further self empowerment and harmonic transcendence. Although it will be extremely important that we keep our two feet on the ground and work from a foundation of realism and unconditional love. Now is not the time to make any drastic changes in our lives as Mercury Retrogrades through Aries. Mercury Retrograde is not a time to start anything new, sign new contracts or buy anything electrical/mechanical. This is a time to reflect and revisit all the things we have left undone, unresolved, or unfixed.
The Black Moon Lilith, (the wife of Pluto) is casting her shadow of death and her fear of loss this Full Moon, her issues revolve around winning and losing. We must not try to stop things from ending but to embrace the new beginning it creates. The feeling of loss is just a matter of perspective, we must practise the art of positive thinking and allow the things we no longer need in our lives to fall away. Only 'TRUE LOVE' endures forever.
On this Full Moon and for the next two weeks, I suggest that we Meditate on all of our Chakra Points, especially the Solar Plexus and Heart Chakra. Nature Walks are a must, as well as a Nutritious Diet. Burn a Pink Candle and Lavender Insence and use the affirmation: My heart is full of peace and inner knowing that everything always works out the best for me.
